Cornelius Eady posted this pic of his latest, captioned, “Heard any good books lately?” It’s a special release for Princeton Poetry Festival, October 25 & 26, where he and his trio will perform music recorded at renowned Sun Studios down in Memphis.
The festival also features readings by Ellen Bass, Gabrielle Bates, Lidija Dimikovska, Cornelius, Kimiko Hahn, Ishion Hutchinson, Vasyl Makhno, Dora Malech, Harryette Mullen, Tommy Pico, and Ben Purkett, plus panels and lectures, with hosts/moderators the likes of Paul Muldoon and Tracy K. Smith. So, obviously, if you’re anywhere near the neighborhood, get yourselves over there for this stellar gathering!
The Princeton-only release contains lyrics for the CE Trio’s eight Sun Studio cuts, plus a drop card for digital download. We might just enlarge it into a full chapbook, complete with an essay from Cornelius, for general release later this year. Stay tuned…
